About Me
I didn’t always feel at home within myself.
My journey has taken me across different countries, practices and teachings over many years.
It began in 1993 when I travelled to Japan, and then later found found my beautiful teacher and guru in 1996, which opened the doorway to a much deeper path of self-discovery.
From sitting with Zen monks in Japan, to studying yoga, meditation and breathwork in India, I spent decades searching for ways to understand the mind, the body and the deeper layers of consciousness.
Along the way, I gathered many tools. Yet even with all of this, I still experienced anxiety beneath the surface.
Through the practices of yoga, and later discovering hypnosis, I began to understand how to gently work with the subconscious mind and release the deeper patterns shaping how I felt.
And then life asked something even deeper of me.
After 25 years of marriage, I reached a point where I could no longer ignore what I was feeling.
There was a quiet knowing that I needed to honour myself. To evolve meant separation.
It was a confronting place to be. There was fear, uncertainty about the future, and a sense of losing the identity I had known for so long. And yet, I knew this moment had been building for a long time.
It was one of the most challenging periods of my life.
There were moments I felt lost, vulnerable, and unsure of what came next.
But it was also through this experience that something began to shift — not all at once, but gently over time.
By returning to the practices that had supported me, allowing myself to feel what was there, and learning to trust myself again…
I found a deeper sense of being at home in myself. A quieter mind, and a growing confidence in navigating life on my own terms.
My Journey to
freedom
Over time, my understanding of healing began to deepen.
I came to realise that working with just one modality is often not enough to create lasting change.
The body, the mind and the subconscious are deeply connected and when they are supported together, transformation becomes more natural and sustainable.
This is why my work now weaves together gentle yoga-inspired movement, breathwork and subconscious practices.
Movement helps release what is held in the body.
Breathwork supports the nervous system and energetic field.
Subconscious work allows us to gently shift the deeper patterns that shape how we think and feel, while also acknowledging and healing inherited wounds.
This integrated approach is not just something I teach.
It is something I live and embody.
Today, I work primarily with women navigating midlife transitions because I have walked this path myself and hold deep compassion for this stage of life.
Whether it is hormonal changes, shifts in identity, relationship transitions, or a sense of disconnection from the Self (the wise part of you that knows), this phase invites you to slow down and reconnect with who you are.
It is a time of becoming.
Of stepping into a wiser, more aligned version of yourself.
My intention is to offer a space where this can unfold gently.
A space where you can return to your body, calm your mind, and reconnect with yourself in a way that feels safe and supportive.
You can explore this work through the Midlife Renewal Membership, the Hypnotuitive Method, or the Menopause Support Program, depending on the level of support that feels right for you.
